About Us

A place to shine!

Landsdale School of Early Learning is a family owned and operated service established by Sarah Chemello, whose vision was to create a nurturing and inspiring environment where children can learn, grow, and develop a strong sense of belonging.

Through our experience in early childhood education, we understand the importance of the early years and the role educators play in the lives of children and their families. We are committed to providing high-quality education and care, building meaningful partnerships with families, and fostering strong connections within our local community.

Our purpose-built service provides a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Our play-based programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and are designed to support each child’s individual development, curiosity, and love of learning.

At the heart of our service is the belief that early childhood is about laying the foundation for a meaningful, capable, and connected life. We focus on nurturing the whole child through play, relationships, and everyday experiences that build resilience, empathy, problem-solving skills, and emotional intelligence.

Sarah Chemello’s personal philosophy shapes the culture of our service. She believes the early years are incredibly powerful in shaping who children become, and that every child deserves to feel confident, capable, and valued. Through warmth, consistency, and high expectations, our environments encourage children to explore, imagine, and grow while developing a strong sense of identity and belonging.

Just as important is supporting the educators who guide children each day. Strong leadership, collaboration with families, and a commitment to continuous improvement ensure that the care we provide goes beyond the basics. Our goal is to help children develop the confidence, life skills, and emotional awareness needed to navigate the world around them.

We also believe that learning extends beyond the walls of the classroom. Our service actively connects with the community through local initiatives, events, and outdoor learning opportunities that help children build relationships with the world around them. From nature-based experiences to community celebrations, these opportunities foster a strong sense of connection, responsibility, and belonging.

At Landsdale School of Early Learning, we are proud to provide a place where children feel safe, families feel supported, and learning is meaningful, joyful, and lifelong.
